Hazel Park Learning Center, a non-profit, Parent Aware Rated child care center on the Eastside of Saint Paul, seeks full-time Infant, Toddler and Pre-School Teachers. Our mission is to provide high quality, affordable childcare for our community. Details of the Position: o Full-time, year-round, up to 40 hours a week o $18.00 an hour o Eligible for a $500 signing bonus

Responsibilities
Actively engage with children and partner with parents to nurture overall child development including; social-emotional, cognitive, fine/gross motor, literacy, and language skills, and help children build self-esteem and positive self-images. Work in partnership with team members and parents/caregivers Prepare weekly lesson plans Attend community events to promote the center
Qualifications
o Must meet DHS Teacher Licensing requirements. Licensed LPN and RNs automatically are qualified for infant teacher positions. o Have previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work or CDA certificate. o Able to satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations. o Have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S. o Have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations. o Be reliable and have a positive work ethic. o Current First Aid and CPR certifications, not required at hiring. Will train after hiring.
